About The Position

Reporting to the SAMF Manager OP Imaging Center, SAMF OP Imaging Center, this position is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in the areas of breast, ob/gyn, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound. The incumbent provides patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those examinations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited program of Ultrasound is required.
• Recent Ultrasound experience in Breast, Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, and Vascular is required.
• Current certification from RDMS (OB or AB), RT(S), RVS or RVT registry is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in the areas of breast, ob/gyn, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound.
• Providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those examinations.
