About The Position

Radiology Partners Borderlands has an immediate opening for an Independent Contractor - Breast Radiologist to join our team at Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This opportunity is a flexible part-time/PRN coverage to help cover our full time Breast Radiologist for vacation. The position includes generous compensation, flexible scheduling and travel stipend. This is a 100% Breast Imaging position, with the option for some General Diagnostic work if desired. The shifts are weeklong, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, and are onsite. There is no call, weekends, or holidays required. This role covers up to 11 weeks per year, or 55 shifts, for vacation coverage. There is a competitive compensation package and a potential opportunity for additional shifts.

Requirements

• Completed an internship and residency in accredited US Diagnostic Radiology Training Program
• Board certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• BLS, ACLS
• DEA
• MQSA required
• Medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of New Mexico

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship in Breast Imaging – Preferred not required

• Be proficient in all aspects of breast imaging/procedures
