About The Position

The Division of Hematology/Oncology at UMass Memorial Medical Center and UMass Chan Medical School is seeking an experienced Breast Oncologist to join its growing team. The role provides specialized breast cancer care across inpatient and outpatient settings, combining academic practice with community-based care at established practices. The primary location is the University Campus in Worcester, with opportunities to practice at the regional cancer center in Fitchburg.

The position includes multidisciplinary collaboration with hematology, oncology, pathology, radiology, and surgical subspecialties; participation in fellowship education, student and resident teaching, and conferences; and opportunities to contribute to clinical investigation and quality improvement. The physician will use EPIC and may receive an academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School, with rank commensurate with experience. The division includes 28 board-certified physicians and 33 advanced practice providers and offers access to clinical and research facilities and a multidisciplinary Cancer Center of Excellence.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology Oncology.
• MD or DO degree.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• Clinical expertise in breast oncology.
• Strong commitment to patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic engagement.
