About The Position

The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston, MA, is seeking enthusiastic applicants for full and part-time positions in the Breast Imaging Radiology Division. The successful candidate will join our department of more than 80 faculty who serve the Medical Center’s main campus and a network of community hospitals and outpatient locations. As a member of Breast Imaging, the candidate will focus their efforts on mammography at BIDMC in Boston, MA. Candidates will perform a wide range of breast imaging studies and procedures including screening, diagnostic exams, ultrasound, MRI and needle localization, and biopsy. Positions available for weekday coverage only; no evenings or weekends are required. Highly competitive compensation package and benefits. The collaboration will provide unparalleled opportunities for breast imaging and other physician specialties to be part of DFCI’s internationally recognized cancer team. This position will be a future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multi-specialist team at DFCI, once the BIDMC-DFCI collaboration is complete.

Requirements

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Fellowship training in breast imaging is required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communications skills a must

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of breast imaging studies and procedures including screening, diagnostic exams, ultrasound, MRI and needle localization, and biopsy.
  • Focus efforts on mammography at BIDMC in Boston, MA.
  • Serve as a future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multi-specialist team at DFCI, once the BIDMC-DFCI collaboration is complete.
