About The Position
The Ocean Restaurant at Cape Arundel Inn & Resort is hiring a Part-Time Breakfast Server! At the Kennebunkport Resort Collection, we are a community of team players who are passionate about what we do and dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our guests and each other. Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion
- Needs to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
- Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
- Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
- Continually strive for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
- Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest’s needs
- Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
- Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
- Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
- Be a good example while working alongside team members
