About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving our guests in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner. Breakfast Attendants will be the first point of contact for our guests in the morning, and will play a major part in ensuring that their day starts out right. Breakfast Attendants will also be responsible for clearing all tables, maintaining and up-keeping the breakfast area, and keeping all items stocked for the duration of breakfast.

Requirements

Exhibits strong customer service skills, including multi-tasking
Must be able to begin work by 5:30AM
Be outgoing and engaging with our guests to ensure a great breakfast experience
Open to cross-training and assisting in other departments as necessary
Must be capable of high-quality food cooking and preparation for each morning breakfast
Approved Food handlers certificate required

Responsibilities

Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
Prepare and cook breakfast foods on a daily basis, following all Marriott required standards
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
Setting up and breaking down breakfast area, including proper storage or disposal of any left-over items from breakfast
Keep all food items stocked, organized, and maintained during breakfast
Maintain organization and food safety standards of all food storage areas
Promptly, effectively, and empathetically assist with guest requests
Be very knowledgeable of Marriott Rewards program and promotions
Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, and amenities of the hotel
Be knowledgeable of the local area, including: shopping, entertainment, and dining
Complete any other related task given by manager
