About The Position

As a Breakfast Host, you are responsible to deliver exceptional guest experiences and prepare high quality meals for your guests. You must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver legendary experiences to our guests. You need the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and have a strong understanding of food safety requirements to effectively deliver 100% guest satisfaction standards.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, or food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
Ability to handle large crowds.
Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
High level of integrity, a positive attitude, and be a coachable team player.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and have a strong understanding of food safety requirements.
Ability to handle challenging and hectic workdays.
Flexible attitude and a willingness to help fellow team members.
Ability to bend, push, pull, kneel, and crouch and lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional guest experiences and prepare high quality meals.
Be the public face of Holiday Inn & Suites Charleston West for our guests.
Ensure guest satisfaction.
Be a team player.
Ensure that the facility is remarkably clean.
Observe and practice all safety and security policies.
Present a clean and professional image.
Provide a welcoming experience to all guests.
Greet and provide assistance to every guest as they enter the breakfast room.
Keep coffee and food fresh and filled during breakfast service hours.
Keep the area clean and sanitized and adhere to all food safety protocols.
Keep the pantry area spotless.
Maintain the highest of cleanliness standards in the breakfast and public areas, which will include but not limited to windows, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, changing garbage.
Complete all training by assigned due date.
Advocate for training when deficiencies in performance are identified.
