About The Position
Fairfield Inn & Suites is looking to hire a Front Breakfast Attendant for the Kingsburg, CA location. This position will b responsible for stocking food and serviceware and for clearing tables for breakfast buffets in the hotel, continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Requirements
- Must have the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment, and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds at one time.
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that the brand’s highest standards are met.
- Each team member is considered a salesperson for the property.
- Be available to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Set up breakfast room as described by housekeeping supervisor and management.
- Provide prompt and professional service during meal functions.
- Provide service by helping guests if they ask.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation at all times.
- Inform supervisor of any problems and/or guest complaints.
- Assist other employees when needed.
- Be neat, well groomed, and in proper uniform.
- Adhere to all company policies as well as brand standards.
- Set up and break down dinner tables, reception tables, and buffet tables after function.
- Stock the breakfast room as needed.
- Put all food away after breakfast in correct packaging and areas.
- Clean all the tables.
- Sweep and mop the floor.
- Wash and put away all the dishes.
- Move the coffee bar and all items needed to the lobby and fully stock it.
- Every week prepare an inventory list of breakfast items.
- Every week receive and put away the breakfast items when they are delivered.
- Be trained in housekeeping as you will be given guest room duties.
- Take and complete a course to receive a food service handling card.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Adheres to all company policies & procedures & brand standards.
