About The Position
The Breakfast Cook helps with station assignments, maintains place, and prepares hot and cold foods for breakfast according to Food & Beverage department specifications. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills to ensure timely preparation and service
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy morning hours, while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Nice To Haves
- Two years of food preparation experience preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Cooks breakfast foods including eggs and breakfast meats
- Set up station and mise en place to Chefs specifications
- May be involved in sauté, grill, and roasting stations
- Help organize kitchen items including, dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies, and food deliveries
- Set up, work, and breakdown station
- Maintain station cleanliness throughout shift
- Submit production needs for following day by shift end
- Other duties as assigned
