About The Position

Maine Course Hospitality Group is seeking a Weekend Breakfast Cook to prepare and serve breakfast, maintain the buffet, and deliver excellent guest service. This role is crucial for ensuring guests have a positive start to their day. The hours for this position are Saturday and Sunday mornings from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Requirements

• Friendly, service-oriented, and dependable
• Ability to follow safety, cleanliness, and food handling standards
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks
• Able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or guest services preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide outstanding hospitality and customer service
• Prepare and serve breakfast items including coffee, muffins, bagels, cereals, and fruit
• Maintain buffet and breakfast areas; clean spills, wipe tables, and stock supplies
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Empty trash and maintain kitchen and guest areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Assist co-workers and collaborate with other hotel departments as needed
• Provide guests with information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Respond professionally to guest requests or complaints
• Represent MCHG positively in the community
