About The Position

The Chatham Inn, Cape Cod’s only Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star hotel, is a luxurious boutique hotel with 18 guest rooms that blends the soul of a historic inn with modern decor and amenities, along with Cuvee, our fine dining restaurant and wine bar. Cuvée Bistro at The Chatham Inn is evolving into a relaxed, approachable coastal bistro with Mediterranean and French influences. We are moving away from a traditional fine-dining model toward something more vibrant, welcoming, and community-driven — while maintaining the polish and standards expected of a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes-recognized property. A $500 hiring bonus is available, paid in three installments over 90 days of employment. At Noble House Hotels & Resorts, our philosophy emphasizes "location, distinction, and soul." Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in similar position preferably in a luxury setting.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including holidays.
• Be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation.
• Able to work together with other colleagues.
• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.

Responsibilities

• Open up preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.
• Prepare all items for breakfast service.
• Rearrange the line for cooking and service.
• Prepare all orders as turned in and ensures all orders cooked quickly and according to order; also ensures that food leaves the kitchen in peak condition.
• Learn Breakfast menu, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures.
• Cook only sufficient food in advance to cover expected business volume and to maintain quality.
• Prepare all food needed.
• Prepare all food for next shift and for the following day as required and directed by Supervisor.
• Maintain the work area, including all counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with state, county, and company health regulations and work safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
