About The Position

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with hotel standards, recipes, and guest preferences. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow recipes and multi-task under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree or professional cooking certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and to the highest quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations as per health and safety regulations.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Handle equipment safely and report any malfunctions or issues.
  • Adhere to portion control standards to minimize waste.
  • Support special events, banquets, and room service operations as required.
