About The Position
Exciting news! A fantastic job opportunity as a Breakfast Attendant has just opened up in Saskatoon at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saskatoon Centre! The Breakfast Attendant must be an early riser who will be responsible for welcoming our guests to the breakfast area, preparing and cooking simple food items, and making sure they have everything they need to start the day off right. This is the ideal position for someone who shines in guest service, has excellent attention to detail, can multitask, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should be focused on providing professional service and creating a memorable stay through personalized guest experiences. We’re looking for individuals who want to help shape the guest experience in a brand-new environment and who are passionate, driven individuals with a friendly, outgoing attitude.
Requirements
- Must be available for a 5:00 AM start time
- Sincere desire to exceed guest expectations
- Happy, upbeat disposition
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Providing personalized service to all guests
- Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
- Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
- Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrates
- Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
- Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
- Preparing and setting up hot food items
- Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day
- Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
- Other and all duties, projects, and tasks assigned by management
