About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up and stocking breakfast stations, preparing the breakfast buffet, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area. This role involves light cooking, restocking supplies, and ensuring a positive guest experience by providing information and upholding service standards. The attendant must also adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols, including safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Light cooking (e.g. eggs, breakfast meats, etc.)
  • Prepare the breakfast buffet (continental or American) for morning service
  • Restock, clean, and maintain breakfast area during service hours
  • Prep food and supplies for the next day's breakfast service
  • Breakdown the buffet after service hours
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen/breakfast area at the end of service
  • Notify Manager of low inventory items
  • Check the quality of the final servings and resolve any issues
  • Provide guests information of local and hotel amenities
  • Guarantee facility compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Provide safe food and prevent forms of contamination
  • Practice safe food handling
  • Monitor time and temperature
  • Maintain a gracious manner with all guests and uphold a high-level of service
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance guidelines
  • Report to the Manager on time for scheduled shifts
  • Obtain Manager's approval prior to shift's end to ensure that all duties are completed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager
