About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards. This role also focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, handling complaints, managing inventory, and collaborating with chefs on menu development. The attendant will also maintain sales records, track cash receipts, and prepare operations reports.

Requirements

Compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Diplomatic and courteous handling of customer complaints.
Knowledge of alcoholic beverage regulations.
Ability to estimate food and beverage costs.
Inventory management and purchasing skills.
Ability to conduct daily inspections of restaurant and equipment.
Ability to evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance.
Collaboration skills with chefs for menu development.
Sales record maintenance and cash receipt tracking.
Ability to prepare and submit operations reports.

Responsibilities

Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
Estimates food and beverage costs.
Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
Collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menus.
Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the regional manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
