About The Position

Responsible for preparing/setting up/servicing breakfast bar and assisting guests efficiently and courteously. This role involves maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor, preparing breakfast according to standards, attending to guest needs, managing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and breakfast bar area. The position also requires providing assistance to team members and delivering DKN’s "Home Away From Home" experience.

Requirements

Previous experience desirable.
English speaking or bilingual.
Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
Dependable.
Must be aware of the importance of safety and security.
Endeavor to be conscious of safety and security at all times.
Friendly and courteous to guests and fellow team members at all times.

Responsibilities

Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Set up breakfast area.
Prepare breakfast according to operational policies and DKN Hotels’ standards.
Attend to guests needs to ensure food and beverages are continually replenished and presented in an appealing manner.
Inventory food items and report on supplies to be ordered.
Control inventory for loss, waste and spoilage.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen/breakfast bar area to DKN Hotels’ standards and all health codes at all times.
Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the housekeeping supervisor.
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
Deliver DKN’s "Home Away From Home" experience
Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
