About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for welcoming guests to the lobby and breakfast bar, providing fast and courteous service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience and repeat business. This role involves setting up the breakfast each morning according to franchise guidelines, consistently interacting with guests to provide a superior breakfast experience, and communicating feedback to hotel management. The attendant must maintain food service quality and safety standards, and ensure a clean work environment that meets health codes and hotel quality assurance requirements.

Requirements

• Must have excellent customer service skills and a stable work history
• Must be able to work entire shift on feet at a quick pace
• Must be flexible to work any shift as needed to include weekends
• Emotional Intelligence: Emotionally competent; able to effectively manage disruptive emotions and impulses; able to stay composed, positive, and unflappable even in trying moments while thinking clearly and remaining focused under pressure
• Promote the hotel by demonstrating a high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests
• Ability to anticipate guests’ needs
• Embraces and respects diversity and multicultural environment
• Background screening for previous criminal history
• Employment may be contingent upon at least 80% score on test on hotel’s reservations system (PMS ) after training
• At least a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Data entry
• Database management systems

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 6 month’s experience in any field where exceeding customers’ expectations were met
• Hotel Experience
• Be flexible and willing to perform other tasks as necessary or requested
• Wear hotel uniform in compliance with hotel standards
• Speaks in guests’ preferred language

Responsibilities

• Set up the Hot “On the House" breakfast each morning by following the Hotel franchise Breakfast guidelines
• Consistently interact with the guests in an effort to provide a superior breakfast experience.
• Communicate feedback to hotel management
• Maintain Food Service quality and safety standards
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment that meets both County Health Codes and the Hotel Quality assurance requirements.
