Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Breakfast Attendant for the Springhill Suites in Portage & MI. This role is responsible for greeting and seating all guests, ensuring a quality dining experience through warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance. The attendant will assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to standard recipes for the bistro and banquet rooms. Key duties include preparing and presenting food items, organizing and maintaining a clean service area, cleaning tables, adhering to all health codes, and ensuring all food selections are available daily during operating hours. The role also involves monitoring food and beverage deliveries, ensuring portion controls, and providing a safe working environment by complying with safety programs, Health Department requirements, and job safety analysis. Maintaining and enforcing sanitation laws and safety standards, inspecting food and beverage outlets for proper storage, cleanliness, and inventory rotation, and assisting with inventories are also crucial. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, helpful, and positive team member, professional, responsible, and mature in conduct, understanding, encouraging, and friendly towards co-workers, self-motivated, and able to use time wisely. Maintaining open communication with departments, communicating pertinent information, responding positively to new ideas, and accepting feedback are expected. The attendant must also be available to assist other departments in emergency situations and perform other assignments as directed by their supervisor.
