About The Position
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the hotel’s complimentary breakfast in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This role ensures guests receive a positive start to their day by delivering excellent service, maintaining food quality standards, and upholding brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Friendly, guest-focused attitude
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Responsibilities
- Set up breakfast area according to brand standards and food safety guidelines
- Prepare and replenish hot and cold food items in a timely manner
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness of breakfast area, including tables, counters, beverage stations, and serving equipment
- Wash dishes, utensils, and breakfast equipment as needed
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Respond promptly to guest questions or requests
- Break down and clean breakfast area after service
- Store food items properly and rotate stock using FIFO method
- Assist with inventory tracking and notify management of low supplies
- Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately
