About The Position

If you are helpful and organized by nature and enjoy serving others, the Banquet Server position may be your next adventure! As a Banquet Server, you will play an important role in the overall success of events. Your ability to connect with people in a meaningful way and your hands on attention to detail will both contribute to satisfied and loyal clients.

Requirements

• Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
• Some locations require an Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to stand and move around for an entire shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively assist guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
