The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for completing closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing the daily cleaning checklist. They will also set up, stock, and maintain work areas, and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures is also a key responsibility. The role requires adherence to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and completing safety training and certifications. Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets are also essential. The attendant will welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees are important. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, and reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print) are also part of the role. The position requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift, and to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, as well as moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs or service ramps are necessary. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors are also expected.
