About The Position

Breakfast Attendants help guests start their morning with breakfast and friendly service. The role is responsible for setting up, taking down, sanitizing, and restocking the breakfast area and kitchen; greeting guests; and keeping the buffet neat and clean throughout the shift. Attendants coordinate daily breakfast activities, prepare and replenish food, maintain supplies and equipment, and assist with breakfast and meeting-room functions. They work with the hotel team to provide guests with a memorable service experience.

• Ability to think quickly and resolve guest issues in accordance with brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities and ensure breakfast is prepared according to food-handling regulations, guidelines, and brand standards.
• Ensure food is prepared and ready at the beginning of breakfast and replenished throughout breakfast hours.
• Welcome and engage guests, replenish coffee, and provide a memorable guest experience.
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with food orders as necessary.
• Assist with setup, service, and breakdown of breakfast and meeting-room functions.
• Inspect the kitchen, preparation area, and dining space for cleanliness, working condition, and proper furniture and equipment setup.
• Maintain knowledge of the correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Check storage areas for adequate supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
• Clear and reset counters and tables after each guest.
• Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely, efficient, appropriate, and friendly manner.
• Work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable guest service experience.
