About The Position

Element Opelika is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Breakfast Ambassador to oversee daily breakfast and bar operations while creating an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with guests, and can effectively lead and support the Food & Beverage team. The Breakfast Ambassador / Food & Beverage Lead will be responsible for maintaining brand standards, ensuring food quality and cleanliness, managing inventory and team performance, and providing outstanding customer service during breakfast service and evening bar operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent guest experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or bar experience preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Alcohol service certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all hotel guests
  • Create a welcoming breakfast and bar atmosphere that reflects Element brand standards
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining and bar area
  • Set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast area daily
  • Ensure food presentation, freshness, and replenishment throughout service
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with ordering, stocking, and inventory management
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
  • Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Lead and support the Food & Beverage team during shifts
  • Train new team members on service standards and operational procedures
  • Delegate responsibilities and ensure efficient team performance
  • Communicate effectively with hotel leadership regarding operational needs
  • Assist with scheduling, coaching, and maintaining team morale
