About The Position

Breaker foreman wanted for an established and growing anthracite coal company. With employee and job site SAFETY as a primary objective, leads and directs production, site condition inspection & maintenance, and equipment repair & maintenance work in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Ensures jobsite is run in a manner that is in compliance with state and federal regulations. Communicates with management to meet job site, safety and production goals. Ensures all equipment, parts, supplies, and tools are provided as needed and personnel are appropriately trained to use and conduct their efforts in a safe and effective manner. Communicates with office staff to supply information from the jobsite on safety related activities and information, spending, production, human resource issues, etc. Comply with M.S.H.A. and Pennsylvania mining regulations, including Task Training and daily equipment and site inspections; and also Company specific safety rules and requirements, including inspection and training for operating and maintenance tasks (toolbox talks, employee specific needs, pre-job briefs, other as needed), wearing of protective safety equipment. Responsible for safety of self, other employees, and visitors (including suppliers and contractors).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of mining experience.
