About The Position

This is a part-time Weekend Breakdown Coordinator position, working Friday & Saturday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting at $18/hour. The role involves being the primary point of contact for drivers experiencing mechanical issues, tire failures, accidents, and other roadside problems. You will use your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, determine the best course of action, and coordinate the fastest, safest solution to get drivers moving again. This is not a basic call-center position; you will be making decisions and coordinating repairs. When breakdown calls are quiet, you will also support the maintenance team as a Service Writer, coordinating repairs, technicians, parts, and repair orders. The ideal candidate has experience with diesel trucks, fleet maintenance, trucking, or service writing, is a strong problem-solver, and can remain calm under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to drivers, technicians, and vendors.
  • The ability to stay organized and prioritize while managing multiple breakdowns and repair orders.
  • Reliable availability to work Saturday and Sunday weekend shifts.
