About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Break Bulk Manager at our Maybrook, NY Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $73,000-$75,000 per year. Various shifts are available. Employees can use PTO immediately upon hire and enjoy an excellent benefits package, including access to employee resorts.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
• Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
• Working with driver / combo drivers from our other locations
