The position requires demonstrating competency in all job activities that may affect product safety, legality, and/or quality.

Requirements

  • Must have physical ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 16 hours.
  • Ability to routinely stoop and bend while lifting 20 lbs. of material.
  • Ability to climb 20-foot stepladder carrying up to 20 lbs. of material and reach out 2 feet to drop into top of hopper.
  • Ability to exert force necessary to move wheeled container weighing up to 500 lbs a distance of 300 feet.
  • Hearing and vision sufficient to detect malfunction of all related machines, and to distinguish color coded equipment, operating controls, labels, alarms and signs.
  • No educational prerequisite; however, must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 or more years of production experience in an industrial food manufacturing facility, preferably in bread production.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up all equipment according to established standards (sheeter rollers, flour sifters settings, guide rails, plow settings, pan guides, etc.).
  • Ensures dough pieces are proper size and length according to standards.
  • Ensures proper sheeting, moulding and panning per production standards.
  • Removes all double dough pieces from pans.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area and GMP’s.
  • Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
  • Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
  • Must meet/maintain CDC food handling requirements and other governmental and/or customer requirements.
