About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, passionate, and detail-oriented Bread Baker to join our culinary team. In this fast-paced environment, you will take pride in producing fresh, high-quality artisanal breads and baked goods. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about their craft and eager to cross-train into pastry production to expand their skill set and support our growing bakery operations.

Requirements

• Previous professional baking experience is preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Foundational knowledge of bread-making techniques and science is a strong plus.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during shifts.
• Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and bake a diverse selection of breads according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Measure and weigh all ingredients accurately to ensure consistency.
• Monitor dough fermentation, proofing, and precise baking times.
• Operate and maintain commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Uphold strict cleanliness and sanitation standards for all workstation areas and equipment.
• Manage inventory rotation and ensure the proper storage of raw ingredients.
• Guarantee all finished products meet our standards for freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
• Assist with prep work, pastry cross-training, and other daily bakery operations as required.
• Adhere strictly to all established food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
