Braze Set Up - 1st Shift

Based in Rancho Dominguez, CA the Braze Set Up C will perform essential job functions associate with braze treatment under the direction of the Production Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in Manufacturing/Aerospace environment.
- Braze experience highly preferred.
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
- Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
Responsibilities
- Braze Setup of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
- Torch braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
- Induction braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
- Braze assembly of customer parts in the Belt department
- Operate and monitor Belt Furnace when customer parts are running
- Work with various alloys and chemicals, including but not limited to flux, acetone
- Perform Sandblasting and polishing on materials to ensure they are free from foreign objects, contaminants, and surface imperfections
- Safely handle chemicals and other solvents required for different fabrication processes.
- Utilize high-heat tools such as lightweight torch gun and induction machines
- Inspect finished products to ensure it meets quality control standards.
- Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Must be able to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
