Based in Rancho Dominguez, CA the Braze Set Up C will perform essential job functions associate with braze treatment under the direction of the Production Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Manufacturing/Aerospace environment.
  • Braze experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.

Responsibilities

  • Braze Setup of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
  • Torch braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
  • Induction braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
  • Braze assembly of customer parts in the Belt department
  • Operate and monitor Belt Furnace when customer parts are running
  • Work with various alloys and chemicals, including but not limited to flux, acetone
  • Perform Sandblasting and polishing on materials to ensure they are free from foreign objects, contaminants, and surface imperfections
  • Safely handle chemicals and other solvents required for different fabrication processes.
  • Utilize high-heat tools such as lightweight torch gun and induction machines
  • Inspect finished products to ensure it meets quality control standards.
  • Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
  • Must be able to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
