About The Position

Based in Fairfield, OH, the Braze Assembly C position will perform essential job functions under general supervision, responsible for the preparation of customer parts for brazing according to written requirements/specifications. Bodycote is the world's largest provider of thermal processing services, employing thousands of highly skilled staff globally. This position is deemed safety-sensitive due to the nature of the business and the heavy industrial market.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years of experience in brazing.
Must be able to read blueprints/specifications.
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases, is required.
Must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.

Responsibilities

Receiving and inspection of customer parts for brazing.
Preparation of customer parts for brazing according to blueprints and specifications, including cleaning and assembly.
Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
Responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
