About The Position

LogRocket is a digital experience analytics platform that helps software teams build better products. We are expanding our brand presence on the ground in New York City with a one of a kind branded mini truck activation, and we need a reliable, personable driver to be the face of that effort on the streets.
The Role
We are looking for a full time driver to operate our branded Kei truck (a compact, manual transmission mini truck) through targeted areas across New York City. This is not a delivery gig or a rideshare position. You will be driving a custom wrapped, eye catching vehicle as a rolling brand activation, representing LogRocket to anyone who sees or interacts with you on the street.
On a typical day, you will be behind the wheel navigating designated routes in high visibility areas of NYC. On occasion, you will be called in for specific activations like customer gift deliveries (think boxes of doughnuts, branded swag, and other fun surprises).
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a typical driving job. You will be operating a purple, custom wrapped mini truck with a rocket sculpture on the back. People will stop, stare, take photos, and ask questions. If that sounds fun to you and you love being out in the city, engaging with people, and taking pride in a unique vehicle, this is the role.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required, this is a pretty small truck)
• Real experience and comfort driving a manual (stick shift) 5 speed transmission with a right-side drivers seat
• Confident navigating New York City streets and traffic
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Friendly and personable with a professional demeanor
• Comfortable being a visible representative of a brand in public
• Ability to walk short distances while carrying light items (boxes, bags, etc.)
• Must be able to commit to a full time schedule of approximately 8 hours per day

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience driving commercial, promotional, or branded vehicles
• Familiarity with NYC neighborhoods, routes, and parking logistics
• Previous brand ambassador, events, or experiential marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Driving Operate the branded Kei truck through assigned routes and neighborhoods across NYC for approximately 8 hours per day. You must be confident and comfortable driving a manual 5 speed vehicle in heavy city traffic.
• Brand Representation Wear the provided LogRocket uniform and represent the brand with a friendly, positive presence. You may interact with passersby, event attendees, and customers during activations. Being approachable and professional is a must.
• Vehicle Care & Management You will be the primary caretaker of this truck. That means keeping it clean (weekly washes at minimum), fueling up as needed, scheduling and managing routine maintenance, and ensuring the truck is safely returned to its garage at the end of every shift. You are responsible for making sure the vehicle stays in great condition and is not damaged.
• Activation Support Participate in occasional brand activations including customer gift deliveries and special events. This may involve carrying items like boxes of doughnuts or branded merchandise short distances on foot.
