Free People Brand Marketing Intern - Brand Partnerships
About The Position
Free People is looking for a Brand Partnerships Intern to join us for the summer. This intern would focus on the Free People Collection Brand Partnerships team and support our growing co-op marketing partnerships within the business. This person would assist with brand partnership outreach and co-op marketing campaign execution. About the Summer Internship Program: Each summer, URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern-focused events, including exposure to senior leadership through small-group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips, and, for those who qualify, the opportunity to interview for a full-time position. Requirements
- Marketing or Business major/background preferred.
- Microsoft office & excel background.
- Project Requirement: In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role you must submit a Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred). This is due at the time of your application submission. Once you complete your project, please upload it to additional documents section in the application process.
- Create a marketing campaign concept board focused on a Fall 2027 Brand Partnership or collaboration opportunity that you feel would align with the Free People customer. Please feature tears of images (still life styling, editorial, artistic, branding, etc.) that you find aspirational for the brand’s creative direction and could be used as a potential collective campaign idea across email, digital and social platforms
- You may use visuals from blogs, Instagram, magazines, etc. to show your point of view but be sure to think like a marketer when pulling your aspirational tears and compiling the concept board.
- Be sure to include 2-3 influencers you could see as partners with this Fall 2027 campaign and why you think they would be great fits with our brand.
Responsibilities
- Assist with co-op marketing partner proposals and campaign execution
- Help brainstorm and research potential brand partnerships for Free People
- Assist in outreach to co-op and prospective brand partners
- Assist with development of partnership recaps to assess performance
- Gain exposure to experiential marketing planning and execution
