About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, the Brand Manager will play a vital role in the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives for our newest innovation, Purple Tiger Hard Soda. This role is central to building brand equity, driving profitable growth, and ensuring these verticals continue to thrive in strategic channels. You will collaborate internally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance as well as externally with distributors and corporate partners to align our business goals and achieve maximum success. This role may also assist with broader portfolio projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of all channels within alcohol beverage. Experience in the convenience channel is a plus.
  • Experience in brand-building with multi-cultural communities.
  • Strong strategic and creative skills.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for brand building and consumer engagement.
  • Strong analytical and budget management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in brand management within the alcoholic beer and/or spirits industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of both on-premise and off-premise channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Availability to travel as required (estimated 25%).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the convenience channel is a plus.
  • MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies.
  • Drive plans with an understanding of cross-culture nuances and consumer behavioral differences by market.
  • Go beyond high-level demographics to build audience profiles that uncover diverse consumer preferences to ensure plans match accordingly.
  • Identify strategic brand pillars including influencers, culturally relevant partnerships in popular music, nightlife, and entertainment.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience within the Hip Hop/R&B music genre and culture to build effective connections and partnerships with the brand and its audience.
  • Execute the brand's key initiatives through innovative, consumer-centric programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish a cohesive brand strategy across marketing channels.
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns and programs to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the POS Manager to create a suite of tools to support the brand in all relevant channels.
  • Manage the advertising and promotional budgets, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate on social media strategies and execution.
  • Conduct market research to analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of brand initiatives.
  • Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing business needs.
