About The Position

Dropout Companies is a Nashville-based CPG holding company building a multi-billion dollar consumer brand portfolio. They launch brands like Jams (high-protein frozen PB&J sandwiches) and Bronco (frozen breakfast bagel sandwiches) into national retail, leveraging a content engine to drive velocity. This role is for a Brand Manager to take ownership of the social media feeds for both Jams and Bronco, with the goal of making them leading brand feeds on the internet. The position requires managing editorial calendars end-to-end, serving as the link between the creative core and the execution team, and transforming creative vision into a consistent engine for incredible posts and marketing moments.

  • Operated social at a high level, having run feeds for brands where the feed itself is a core asset.
  • Work has helped define brands, not just amplify them.
  • Researched Jams and Bronco, understanding the products, the customer, and the mission.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • A self-starter who shifts priorities without losing the thread, moves with urgency, and innovates inside of real constraints.
  • Ensures calendars stay tight, handoffs never get lost, and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Can run creative operations, writing sharp briefs and holding people to timelines without burning relationships.
  • Moves work from idea to live without drama, having built systems before.
  • Possesses obvious taste, able to identify what is off in a post in a single sentence and understands why something looks great.
  • Cares about performance, reads data clearly, and does not confuse a viral hit with a strategy or a beautiful feed with a business.
  • Holds strong opinions without being difficult to work with, knowing when to push back and when to let go.
  • Lives on the internet, understanding what is resonating now, what was resonating six months ago, and why the difference matters.
  • Loves brands and CPG, studying pack design in grocery aisles.
  • Fluency required in social analytics, Archive, Canva, Figma, plot.so, and Monday.com.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in social, brand marketing, or creative operations.
  • Owned an editorial calendar end to end for at least one brand, through a full year or more of weekly execution.
  • A proven track record of shipping content at volume, with sharp instincts for what works, what does not, and why.

Responsibilities

  • Own the social feeds for both Jams and Bronco.
  • Own both editorial calendars end to end, built weekly and planned a month forward.
  • Manage the weekly creative rhythm, including look-aheads, post reviews, and all-hands meetings.
  • Write briefs and assign work across design, 3D, UGC, talent, community, and PR.
  • Manage timelines for every post, campaign, and launch, defining who is doing what, by when, and at what quality bar.
  • Oversee every handoff between the creative core and the execution team.
  • Run rounds of feedback on in-progress work and drive projects to completion.
  • Perform final quality control on every post before it goes live.
  • Conduct weekly performance reporting and provide a point of view on future strategies.
  • Synthesize wins, losses, and signals from the feeds into direction for the following week.
  • Keep creative, execution, and leadership aligned at all times.
