About The Position

Pilgrim’s is transforming into a scaled, branded portfolio in prepared foods, with significant investment and leadership focus. This role is central to this transformation, working within a team to build brands like Just Bare. The environment combines the speed and ownership of a startup with the resources of a global food company, focusing on building new capabilities in performance marketing from the ground up. This offers an opportunity to build and shape performance marketing, have real ownership and impact in a high-growth area, operate with speed and scale, and help define modern marketing within a large organization. The ideal candidate is a performance-driven marketer who uses data to make decisions and achieve business outcomes. They are comfortable analyzing campaign performance, identifying successes and failures, and pushing partners for improved results. This person owns performance, possesses strong judgment, challenges existing thinking, and can translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business impact. This role is responsible for driving the performance of paid media investment and ensuring agency partners deliver against business objectives.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in performance marketing, digital media, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic)
  • Experience managing and directing agency partners, not just receiving reports
  • Proven ability to identify performance issues and drive optimization
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel, Google Analytics or similar tools)
  • Ability to translate data into clear business actions and recommendations
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Willing and able to travel as business needs dictate

  • Partner across the organization to ensure performance marketing is fully integrated into how we build and grow our brands
  • Own performance outcomes across paid media channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic)
  • Act as the day-to-day lead with agency partners, setting direction and holding them accountable
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify clear actions to improve ROI
  • Challenge agency recommendations and push for stronger results
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to decisions around audience targeting, creative effectiveness, and investment allocation
  • Ensure performance marketing aligns with broader brand and commercial priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally (sales, finance, insights, innovation) to support integrated plans
  • Bring a performance lens into broader marketing and business decisions
  • Provide input on creative effectiveness based on performance data
  • Support influencer strategy, execution, and measurement
  • Manage media budgets with a focus on efficiency and return
  • Partner on budget tracking and forecasting
