About The Position

Eaton’s Global Marketing Communications team is looking for a Manager, Brand Insights. This new role will establish and lead a brand measurement program to ensure that our brand strategy is data-driven and insight-led. You will define measurable brand health objectives, trend analyses and research strategies to deliver on business goals. By converting data and research into actionable insights, you will enable leadership to optimize brand investments and proactively respond to market trends – ensuring Eaton’s brand remains a strategic driver of growth and competitive advantage. Within the Brand & Thought Leadership Center of Excellence, the Manager, Brand Insights will work closely with our Marketing Analytics team and business leaders to develop a comprehensive brand measurement framework. You’ll establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand health, create dashboards and reports that visualize our progress, and conduct research that benchmarks Eaton against industry peers. By synthesizing data and market research, you will translate insights into strategic recommendations to inform our enterprise positioning and improve our brand equity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing analytics, market research, or brand management with a focus on data and insights
  • No relocation is offered. Only candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius of Beachwood, OH; or Moon Township, PA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Exceptional analytical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining complex analytical findings in simple terms
  • Ability to create clear, compelling data visualizations to communicate insights to a range of audiences
  • Strategic mindset who can evaluate and balance short-term results and long-term or big picture impact
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy, quality and consistency in reports and methodologies
  • Can work collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams and employees at all levels in the organization
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, PowerBI and/or Copilot is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience doing quantitative analysis with large data sets from multiple sources, developing visualizations and reports
  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels, brand concepts, and how changes in brand metrics lead to potential business implications
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • 8+ years of experience in a brand health and measurement role
  • Experience in a B2B company or in an industrial/technology sector
  • Leading or conducting brand research or working with an agency to facilitate research
  • Familiarity with brand valuation models or frameworks
  • Using advanced analytics tools, platforms or statistical software, and managing dashboards
  • Influencing or guiding decision-makers through data storytelling, ideally in marketing or brand strategy contexts

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Eaton’s brand measurement strategy, defining clear objectives for what we need to learn about our brand and how it connects to business outcomes.
  • Establish the core set of brand health KPIs, set benchmarks for each and determine the methodologies and frequency for measuring these KPIs.
  • Work cross-functionally with business, marketing and function leaders to understand their needs and define how our brand health and measurement strategy can be applied.
  • Consult with agencies, research vendors and partner with the Marketing Analytics and Insights teams to gather and integrate data from multiple sources to develop a holistic view of brand performance across the customer journey.
  • Build and maintain a brand health dashboard and scorecard to provide visibility into brand performance for leadership and marketing teams.
  • Monitor key brand metrics and analyze the factors influencing them.
  • Research and interpret industry trends and competitive benchmarks to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Convert data and research findings into actionable insights and recommendations to optimize brand and marketing efforts and testing.
  • Present brand insight reports to marketing leaders and cross-functional teams and provide recommendations to respond to external market conditions and evolving customer expectations.
  • Refine our brand measurement approach based on emerging tools and technologies and as the needs of our business evolve.
