About The Position

This position will play a key role in crafting events and experiences that are unique and meaningful to the Kohler Hospitality brands. It will also shape the in-house guest experience in a way that is relevant to today’s culturally connected guest. This role is creative and should influence our businesses and the culture around them. This position will focus on Kohler, Wisconsin.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge, or willingness to learn, Adobe Illustrator.
Experience presenting and communicating with all levels of associates.
Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
Flexibility in schedule to include days, evenings, some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute Resort Programming, including Resort Holiday Events and Resort Signature Experiences.
Learn property management systems (Resort Suite and Amadeus) to book rooms and spaces as needed. Create Banquet Event Orders when necessary.
Manage department purchasing, including ordering, purchase order tracking, returns, storage, and all other components with items being brought in.
Assist in the timely communication, internal and external, of events and activities to resort.
Assist in monitoring department monthly expenses.
Catalog competitor events to stay on top of trends in the market.
Assist department deliveries of marketing materials to Resort Businesses.
Adhere to budget parameters provided for special events and assigned activities.
Other duties as assigned.
