About The Position

Help Scout builds software for relationship businesses. We are in a new chapter, building AI and reimagining how we operate in an AI-native world. We are a fully remote team with 120+ teammates worldwide. The Brand Creative team is a small but mighty in-house team responsible for everything customer-facing. As the new Brand Designer, your work will be seen by several hundred thousand people monthly, and your job will be to ensure every moment looks, feels, and sounds like Help Scout. This is a role for a designer honing their craft who is hungry to grow. You will report to the Principal Brand Designer, learning the system as you produce polished, on-brand work across a range of surfaces, from ads to pages that shape how the world meets Help Scout.

Requirements

• Stellar visual designer honing their craft, with a keen eye for composition, typography, and detail.
• Curious and consultative.
• Motion and web design chops alongside strong static fundamentals.
• Fluent in Figma.
• Communicate clearly and lean on async techniques to move multiple projects forward at once.
• Know when to leverage AI and other time-saving approaches.
• Comfortable breaking work into manageable chunks.
• Embrace ambiguity and find ways to create clarity.

Responsibilities

• Design ads and social graphics that expand Help Scout's brand awareness into new audiences.
• Contribute to bigger brand builds, like our new editorial content hub and sub-brands (including our podcasts).
• Partner with Product Marketing to make product content visually compelling across channels.
• Balance bite-sized, fast-turnaround assets with steady progress on larger projects, breaking work into manageable chunks.
• Grow into shaping the brand system itself as your craft deepens.
