Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience across brand marketing, creative, integrated marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Experience working in a high-growth consumer, DTC, or ecommerce environment.
  • Exceptional creative judgment and taste, with the ability to evaluate and improve work across design, copy, messaging, and composition.
  • Experience leading creative development across multiple channels, including paid media, ecommerce/web, email, video, photography, and print.
  • Experience working directly with designers, copywriters, agencies, photographers, and other creative partners.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing creative, including the importance of volume, iteration, testing, and speed.
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns, product launches, or brand activations from concept through execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and an integrated marketing calendar.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator.
  • Humble, low ego, and receptive to different perspectives.
  • A “doer” with an ownership mentality and bias toward action.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading brand or creative marketing at a high-growth DTC or ecommerce brand.
  • Experience marketing a physical consumer product, particularly consumer electronics, health and wellness, or another considered-purchase category.
  • Experience creating experiential, partnership-driven, PR-worthy, or other non-traditional brand activations.
  • Experience managing both internal creative teams and external agencies or freelancers.
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled creative tools and workflows.
  • Able to operate at both macro and micro levels: from annual campaign planning to detailed creative review.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative development across Provider- Direct marketing, including paid media, ecommerce, email, print, product launches, promotions, and events.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback across design, copy, messaging, photography, video, and composition, helping the team consistently raise the quality of the work.
  • Partner closely with Performance Marketing and eCommerce to create high-performing creative that balances speed, testing, iteration, and brand consistency.
  • Manage the creative team and external partners, setting clear priorities, providing coaching, and ensuring work is delivered on time and at a high standard.
  • Own the integrated Provider marketing calendar across product launches, promotional moments, campaigns, limited-edition products, events, and other key marketing moments.
  • Develop and execute 3–4 meaningful brand activations each year that bring Eko’s positioning to life in distinctive ways and generate awareness, conversation, and positive sentiment.
  • Help shape major campaigns and product launches, ensuring the creative idea and execution are cohesive across channels.
  • Translate Eko’s brand strategy and guidelines into marketing execution, maintaining consistency while adapting appropriately to different audiences and channels.
  • Build a strong understanding of Eko’s customers, culture, market, and competitive environment to continually improve the work.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
