About The Position
Kinetic Events Staffing is seeking Brand Ambassadors for the Minnesota State Fair, which runs from Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, to Monday, September 7th, 2026. This role is an excellent opportunity to join our team, especially as Minneapolis is a growing market for us, with more opportunities anticipated in 2026. We foster a fun, collaborative, and positive work environment. The event will take place at 1265 Snelling Avenue North, St. Paul, MN 55108.
Requirements
- Considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
- Limited phone use during shifts.
- Adherence to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.
Nice To Haves
- Previous event or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Flexible and adaptable as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs.
- Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills.
Responsibilities
- Engage with visitors at the event.
- Encourage crowd participation.
- Administer fun booth games.
- Welcome guests.
- Manage line flow.
- Hand out prizes/swag.
- Answer general questions.
- Keep the booth area tidy, organized, and inviting.
