About The Position

OneApp is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and mission-driven Brand Ambassador to be the face of the company at trade shows, regional expos, and multifamily industry conferences. This role involves engaging prospects, generating leads, representing the brand with integrity, and ensuring every interaction is impactful. In addition to on-site event responsibilities, the Brand Ambassador will handle logistics such as managing materials and inventory, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting the event calendar. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in people-first environments, is comfortable in busy trade show settings, and takes pride in operational excellence. The role offers opportunities for travel to 15+ events annually, building skills in field marketing, event execution, and brand representation.

Requirements

  • 6 months – 2 years of experience in a customer-facing, event, field marketing, sales support, or brand-representative context (e.g., retail, hospitality, trade show staffing, campus ambassador work).
  • Genuine comfort engaging strangers in conversation.
  • Strong organizational instincts and ability to track tasks.
  • Reliability and follow-through.
  • Comfort with heavy travel (40–60%+ of the time).
  • Ability to manage oneself on the road.
  • Genuine connection to the mission of helping people get housing.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Portland, OR.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the multifamily housing industry, property management, or proptech.
  • Experience using a CRM or lead capture tool (HubSpot, Salesforce, event apps, etc.).
  • Comfort with basic content capture: phone photography, short-form video, social posting.
  • Experience managing physical inventory, shipping coordination, or supply logistics.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Represent OneApp at 10–15+ trade shows, conferences, and regional expos annually.
  • Engage attendees proactively, explain OneApp's value proposition, answer questions, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Capture and qualify leads accurately using event-provided or internal tools, ensuring data is clean and properly handed off.
  • Execute booth setup, breakdown, and presentation with care, ensuring materials are staged and the display is on-brand.
  • Brief and align with attending Sales and Partner Success team members before and during events.
  • Manage pre-event coordination, including registration, logistics confirmation, and review of exhibitor guides.
  • Order, track, and manage event materials, booth assets, and promotional inventory.
  • Coordinate shipping of materials to events and troubleshoot any issues in real time.
  • Support pre-event communications, such as drafting calendar invites and briefing notes.
  • Collect and clean attendee lists from event organizers for outreach.
  • Compile post-event recaps, including leads captured, qualitative highlights, and feedback themes.
  • Capture on-site photos and video content at events as directed.
  • Assist with the distribution of event-specific promotional materials.
  • Contribute post-event content moments (quotes, observations, audience reactions) for the Content team.
  • Maintain consistent, on-brand presentation across all touchpoints.
  • Distribute and collect post-event attendee surveys and surface recurring themes and feedback.
  • Identify and escalate gaps in materials, messaging, or readiness that affect brand presence.
