Working Hours: Thursday to Sunday (Thurs/Fri 9am-7pm; Sat/Sun 8am-6pm) in addition to Wed. July 1st for demo program start date. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older to drive company‑provided rental vehicles as part of this role. We are looking for outgoing, high-energy and spud loving individuals to become EarthFresh Brand Ambassadors to promote our new products this summer! If you enjoy being outdoors, being independent but also working with a small team and interacting with the public, then joining our Mobile Potato Cooker Program is the job for you! The Brand Ambassador will travel within Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to promote our line of products at major grocery stores and events to build brand equity and market new and existing EarthFresh products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary education in progress or recent graduate
  • Hold a valid Ontario driver’s license (G) and clean driver’s abstract
  • 1-2 years’ experience in customer service/promotional marketing role in a retail environment
  • 1-2 years’ experience driving a truck/pulling a trailer
  • Experience working with ovens, stovetops, propane, or in a culinary setting with knowledge of food safety / health & safety principles
  • Ability and willingness to work 4 days per week for 10-12 consecutive weeks
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
  • Positive attitude and welcoming demeanor
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Proven ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50-75lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handlers certification
  • Knowledge of consumer products and fresh produce is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Distribute baked potatoes from EarthFresh cooker tent to general public while upholding a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Safely prepare and cook the baked potatoes as directed by EarthFresh Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and cooker protocols.
  • Daily and hourly temperature record keeping of both oven and cooler temperatures, making sure to accurately note the date, location and time including comments.
  • Drive EarthFresh pick-up truck and hitched cooker to various store locations within the GTA.
  • Proper set-up and tear-down of EarthFresh tent.
  • Coordinate with manager to ensure supplies and condiments are fully stocked.
  • Work with inside sales department to order potatoes as required for the week.
  • Process expenses with the accounting department as required, approved by manager.
  • Proper display and condiment set up and clean-up before and after each day.
  • Follow EarthFresh GMPs as they relate to the cooker program to ensure a clean and tidy workplace.
  • Accurately record working hours daily via Dayforce software.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required, related to the promotional program.
