About The Position

C+C is seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Brand Ambassadors, also known as Social Good Ambassadors (SGAs), to bring educational, interactive booths to life at various community events across the Puget Sound region. This role involves engaging with community members, sparking conversations, and educating the public on programs that support stronger communities and a better planet. It is a part-time, event-based position with flexible scheduling, including weekends. SGAs will be part of a pool of ambassadors notified of upcoming event opportunities and can accept shifts that fit their availability. The role is non-exempt and pays $24 per hour. Training and travel expenses, including mileage reimbursement, are covered.

Requirements

  • Confidence to engage and talk with new people while staying focused on campaign goals.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and open communication.
  • Attention to detail when selecting event materials and writing event recap reports.
  • Proactive when it comes to reviewing event schedule and shifts.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and think on your feet.
  • Flexible schedule, and the availability to work weekend events throughout the Puget Sound Region.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation; access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel within an approximate distance of up to 60 miles from Seattle.
  • A smartphone.
  • Willingness to work at least two events per month.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with community members at festivals, fairs, and neighborhood events.
  • Spark meaningful conversations and educate the public on programs and actions that support stronger communities and a better planet.
  • Bring educational, interactive booths to life.
  • Select event materials and write event recap reports.
  • Review event schedule and shifts using email or other tools (e.g., Asana).
  • Set up tents, community tables, and varied outreach equipment.
  • Travel within an approximate distance of up to 60 miles from Seattle based on specific event locations.
