About The Position

We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide guest experiences that exceed expectations and create guests for life. This position is likely the first point of contact our guests have when arriving at the mountain, so it is critical that all team members provide genuine, courteous, and helpful experience that generates the ‘Wow!’ factor.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age
Must be willing to work outdoors
Timely and reliable attendance is essential even in inclement weather and must be available to work a flexible workweek, including holidays and weekends
Excellent verbal communication skills and a willingness to initiate guest contact in a friendly manner
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous
Knowledge and passion about skiing and snowboarding, marketing, and guest relations

Responsibilities

Greeting and interacting with guests in and around facilities as well as on the mountain
Providing guests with directions and assistance
Gaining extensive resort knowledge and where to find the answer for guests
Crowd entertainment on high volume days
Distributing promotional swag to guests
Representing Blue Mountain at on and off-site promotional activities and events
