About The Position

Brand Ambassadors are the face of Downeast Cider in Portland, representing the brand at stores, bars, and festivals across their home territory. The primary mission is to make every sampling experience memorable, as the Brand Ambassador is often the first interaction a customer has with the brand. This role involves setting up sampling stations, pouring samples, answering customer questions, and ensuring a positive brand experience. After events, ambassadors are responsible for breaking down the station and logging event details.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Reliable access to a vehicle.
• Availability for nights and weekends.
• Ability to engage with strangers and provide excellent customer service.
• Organized and able to manage logistics such as gear, product, and timing.
• Reliable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

• Beverage or promotional experience is not required, as training will be provided.
• A personality that strangers enjoy talking to.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality events and demos at stores, bars, festivals, and other venues.
• Sample cider and answer customer questions about the product with enthusiasm.
• Manage and organize the gear and cider for demos and brand events.

Benefits

• $25/hour pay rate.
• $0.725 per mile mileage reimbursement.
• Flexible scheduling, averaging 10 hours per month, primarily nights and weekends.
