Brand Ambassador - Youth Sports
About The Position
Are you passionate about youth development and making a positive impact in your community? We’re seeking an energetic and motivated Brand Ambassador to represent and grow our brand within the youth sports industry. In this paid Brand Ambassador role, you will be the face of our organization, engaging directly with kids, parents, and community members to promote our youth sports programs through grassroots & digital marketing tactics. The primary function of this role is to educate potential customers about our programs and to build our membership/registration base. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in dynamic environments! This position is based in the Hayward / San Leandro Area, California.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings - a true “people person”!
- Passion for sports or youth development with a genuine enthusiasm for engaging young athletes and their families
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Basic understanding of marketing and promotions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings (expect to work ~5-10 hours per week)
- Must pass a National Criminal Background Check
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation (with space to carry larger marketing supplies like tables/canopies) and be timely and reliable.
- Should have a desire to commit to this role for at least 1 year
Responsibilities
- Building relationships & driving brand awareness with local business owners, community members, and schools
- Engage with participants (kids), parents, coaches, and spectators to share information about our offerings and initiatives
- Assist in event marketing efforts by setting up promotional materials, managing registration booths, and ensuring a lively presence
- Executing grassroots marketing strategies including placing road signs, distributing flyers, and running in-person events
- Contributing to digital marketing campaigns including advertising and social media by creating content, sharing event updates, and interacting with followers to boost brand visibility
- Interacting with the public and educating them on the i9 Sports Experience
- Consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
