About The Position

C+C is an award-winning integrated marketing agency focused on changing behaviors for social and environmental good. They help clients motivate people to take actions such as choosing energy-efficient appliances, applying for college programs, increasing recycling, making good financial decisions, taking public transit, and saving water. C+C has been working on social issues and sustainability projects since 2005 and has offices in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Boston, MA. This role requires local Brand Ambassadors, also known as Social Good Ambassadors (SGAs), to work two days onsite from the C+C offices. SGAs will bring educational, interactive booths to life at festivals, fairs, and neighborhood events across the Puget Sound region. They will engage with community members, spark conversations, and educate the public on programs and actions that support stronger communities and a better planet. This is a part-time, event-based role with flexible scheduling, including weekends. Applicants will be added to a pool and notified of upcoming event opportunities, allowing them to accept shifts that fit their schedule.

Requirements

  • Confidence to engage and talk with new people while staying focused on campaign goals.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and open communication with the rest of the team.
  • Attention to detail when selecting event materials and writing event recap reports.
  • Proactive when it comes to reviewing event schedule and shifts using email or another tool (Asana, for example).
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and think on your feet.
  • Flexible schedule, and the availability to work weekend events throughout the Puget Sound Region.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation; access to a vehicle; willingness to travel within an approximate distance of up to 60 miles from Seattle based on specific event locations.
  • A smartphone.

  • Bilingual and multilingual capabilities are highly desired (Spanish, but not required!).

Responsibilities
