About The Position

We are seeking energetic, outgoing, and family-friendly Brand Ambassadors to support an exciting Walmart store opening event in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This large-scale community activation is expected to welcome approximately 1,000 attendees per day and will feature interactive games, sampling, photo opportunities, and family-friendly activities.

Requirements

Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with children and families.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors in October weather conditions.
Must have reliable transportation to the event location.
Flexible availability, as shift times may change based on operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous experiential, retail, grocery, sampling, or event experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Engage with shoppers, children, and families in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner.
Facilitate Plinko and distribute prizes while creating a fun guest experience.
Support sampling activities and distribute products following event guidelines.
Assist at Trick-or-Treat stations and help manage guest flow.
Support the Photo Op, Face Painting, Balloon Artist, and Sparkling Water Truck activations as needed.
Help with event setup, cleanup, and maintaining clean and organized activation areas.
Be prepared to work both indoor and outdoor activations and assist across multiple stations during busy periods.
Follow direction from the Team Lead / Field Supervisor and provide excellent customer service.
