About The Position

At Main Event, our Brand Ambassadors play an important role because they are the first and last person the Guest sees on every visit! As a Brand Ambassador, you help our Guests tailor their FUN experience by advising and answering questions on various activities and directing them to their activities! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY? Walking into a Main Event is like entering a new world of lights, music, entertainment, and laughter. Every Guest is greeted by the genuine, glowing faces of Main Event Team Members as they see splashes of color and new opportunities to play. Each center is full of passionate, driven people who are serving others and making memories that bring to life our chef-inspired meals, full-service catering with private rooms, high-energy bar with the latest audio-visual technology, space for birthday parties for kids and adults, and party rooms for corporate, school, and league events. A trip to Main Event is a chance for the whole family to reconnect, celebrate, compete, eat, and play. When you’re with us, each and every moment together is the Main Event.

Requirements

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, and/or weekends

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet all guests while being a FUN ambassador! (First impressions are everything!)
• Communicating to the team who is a first-time Guest
• Answering Guest’s questions on various activities and directions
• Managing the guest experience by keeping communication clear on wait times for games, food, and other activities
• Escorting Guests to various activities, explaining safety rules, and assisting with table maintenance (you got this!)
• Thanking our Guests for coming and welcoming them back
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
