About The Position

This is a part-time, temporary position expected to last approximately 12 months. The role may require up to 30 hours per week, though weekly hours may be fewer depending on business needs. As a Brand Ambassador & Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in expanding Commnet’s presence and driving customer acquisition within these designated rural communities. This field-based position focuses on increasing brand visibility, generating qualified leads, and supporting sales efforts through direct community engagement. You will interact with residents and local businesses, participate in regional events, and represent Commnet in various outreach activities. Qualified leads will be handed off to internal teams for closing and service scheduling.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer engagement roles.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Comfortable with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must reside in or near Apache County, AZ or Truth or Consequences, NM.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in field marketing, brand representation, or community outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead tracking systems.
  • Background in telecommunications or technology services.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Commnet’s services through in-person outreach across residential neighborhoods and business districts.
  • Attend and support local events, festivals, and community gatherings to increase brand awareness.
  • Set up and manage promotional materials and booths at outreach activities.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers, documenting lead details accurately for follow-up by Account Executives and Customer Success teams.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Commnet’s offerings to effectively communicate benefits to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with marketing and sales strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on outreach activities and lead generation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
